Distributions from this fund will be in the form of transfers to the general operating budget of the foundation and will be accomplished at the discretion of the Board of Directors, according to need. Any such distributions will take place during the normal accounting cycle for determing the grants available for the fiscal year. If distributions to the general operations budget from this fund in any given year do not equal the available income earned by the fund, the unused income shall be added to the principal of the fund for reinvestment, enabling a compounded increase int he value of the fund.
