This scholarship, established by the Talawanda School District in2015, has been endowed from the proceeds of the sale of bricks from the old Talawanda High School for the purpose of supporting graduating Talawanda High School Students wishing to attend a four-year institution or vocational school.

SCHOLARSHIP TO PAY: Tuition, room-board and related educational expenses to Talawanda graduating High School student(s). 

NOTE: As assets grow, the Foundation may elect to increase the grant amount and/or award additional scholarship.

CRITERIA:

1. Minimum 2.5 GPA.

 2. Demonstrated financial need is of great importance.

3. Must be enrolled in school full time.

4. Mush have 95% daily attendance. (Verification from Administration must be attached to application.)

5. Must not have office referrals (Verification from Administration must be attached to application.)

6. REQUIRED-Two letters of recommendation from instructors, principal, or counselor(s) that include evidence that applicant is an individual with drive and potential to succeed.
