The purpose of this fund, started in 1999, is to provide support to better the quality of life for children and youth in the Community by encouraging and teaching philanthropy, volunteering, and developing leaders. Grants awarded to assist the implementation of youth-serving programs and for youth-based initiatives. Primary consideration given to treatment of teen substance abuse; teen health care; recreation, creativity and the Arts; promotion of tolerance for diversity in the community. An anonymous donor will match annual gifts contributed to the fund at three times the total amount contributed in a given year.
