Miami University graduate James "Red" Wilcher was a mentor and inspiration to many students in the Miami University Children's Theater program.  This scholarship was created in 2010 in his memory, and is awarded to a graduating Talawanda High School student pursuing an arts related career such as theater, dance, music, art, graphic design, or other artistic area. It is designed to encourage an individual's artistic goals. CRITERIA: -A Talawanda High School senior. Provide a statement of history of their involvement in a form of artistic interest and their future goals of being involved in the arts. Provide two letters of recommendation that address the qualifications for this student to obtain this scholarship. Minimum GPA 2.0.
