John E. and Grace C. Dome Memorial Endowment Fund for the Oxford Community Foundation

John and Grace Dome were an integral and active part of the Miami University and greater Oxford community.  Established in 1999, this restricted fund was made through a bequest to the Greater Oxford Community Foundation to the purpose of providing funding for organizational or corporate projects designed to benefit the citizens of Oxford, OH. The specific purposes, as stated in the bequest are: To provide matching funds to the City of Oxford for the purchase of equipment, real estate or buildings that cannot otherwise be purchased with available funds. To provide funding for educational programs designed to educate the youth of the community on such topics as "good government," leadership, substance abuse, race relations, and child abuse. To provide grants of up to $5000 per year, for a maximum of 10 years, to the McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital, Oxford, OH. Distributions to said hospital are not to be used for salaries nor general operating expenses. If the status of said hospital should change from a non-profit entity, whose governing board is selected by the Mayor of the City of Oxford, within said 10 year period, then there shall be no further grants given to said hospital.
