Established in 2019 by Edna and Bob Southard, this fund helps provide support of programs and projects by organizations or groups that are designed to enhance, enrich, or educate members of the Oxford community regarding intercultural and interfaith understanding, especially for programs and projects that educate about the holocaust, genocide and civil rights. The fund also supports programs and projects that promote a welcoming Oxford community for all; that promote respect for, and a greater understanding of the commonality of, the entire human race; and that denounce hatred and promote the ideals of democracy. The fund may also promote projects and programs that are designed to enhance the Oxford community through visual, performance, or public art; with the goal of promoting art of all kinds.
