The Oxford Community Foundation welcomes grant proposals for worthy projects focused on the greater Oxford area (defined as area encompassing the Talawanda School District.) We consider support for activities that foster personal development, focus on problem prevention, enhance the quality of life for community residents, promote volunteer participation, and strengthen our local, not-for-profit agencies. Projects that generate matching funds and promote cooperation among community organizations are especially favored.

In general, grant recipients will be a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Foundation does not fund proposals that seek the principal financial support for an organization, nor proposals for funding of scientific, academic, or medical research. The Foundation does not support proposals to cover deficits in operating budgets, nor does the foundation support proposals for funding that is going to an individual (please contact us to discuss possible exceptions to the policy.)
